How do I review and approve a disbursement on Schwab Retirement Center?

Participant distribution and loan final fund disbursement from the Plan, as well as any Plan fees, must be reviewed and approved by a Plan Sponsor at Schwab Retirement Center.

Once you have logged in, from the dashboard, go to the Operations menu, and under Distributions select Pending Distributions and Disbursements.

In the View Pending Disbursements and Distributions window, click on the checkbox in the upper left-hand corner to select all directives for review, or click individually on the checkbox next to each directive to review them one by one.  Once a directive is checked, click on the Review button.

In the Review Directives window, you can see detailed payment instructions for the disbursement.  Select the Approve button.  Note, directives approved before 10:00 MT will be issued the same business day; directives approved after 10:00 MT will be issued the following business day.

Please be sure to save a copy of the directives for your records.
